Concessions and Events: 15%
Button Sales: 35%
Other than a small portion that goes towards administrative costs, the majority of funds raised goes to support the Festival and its events.

The Festival is a community event that is seen by over 200,000 people and involves hundreds of volunteers. The Festival is the lowest priced air show and hydroplane combination in the nation. The Festival has made great efforts to maintain this event at an affordable price so that everyone in the community can enjoy the entertainment. However, we cannot continue to do that without your support.

The Evansville Freedom Festival has received a number of accolades over the years. The Festival and its organizers are very proud of the work of its hundreds of volunteers which allows the Festival to receive such recognition.
- Featured in the Wall Street Journal as one of the Fourth of July’s best celebrations
- Obtained record attendance crowds in each of the last two years
- Been considered by the U.S. Navy Blue Angels as one of the few sites in the nation that could organize a performance on short notice
- Been recognized as Hydroprop’s Race Site of the Year
- Voted as the City’s Best Event by the readers of Evansville Living Magazine
- Been repeatedly applauded in the Editorials of the Evansville Courier and Press
